My Reflections on Research Methods as a unit

Research methods last semester was an interesting subject to have as one of my units because it gave me the chance to learn more about the different types of methods to collect, analyse and conclude on research based on a number of different things.

I was also please with the way that we were told about the different methods of gathering data e,g, questionnaires, interviews etc. and the difference between them and what made them specifically better than other methods.

The things i was disappointed with were the lack of different methods of getting points across other than word or power point. as this became repetitious and toward the latter stages of the unit became harder to concentrate on and motivate for.

I liked the fact that the weekly work set was challenging and has a direct influence on the individual main section of the coursework. i also thought that the blog carnival was a fantastic piece of coursework to have as it allowed you to constructively debate other a chosen topic

So, overall i think that RESMET is a fairly good unit and am please that i got the chance to experience it and would recommend it as a 10 credit unit.
